The Bahrain International Airport has awarded a tender to HomeLand Technology Sdn Bhd to install their state of the art under vehicle scanners in the airport premises to protect its ground support units.

The computer based Digital Colour UVSS (Under Vehicle Screening System) will perform screening of all vehicles including cars and airport buses entering and leaving the ground support areas.

This USD 130,000 tender is expected to be fully commissioned in early 2007. The systems are expected to perform screening on about 30,000 vehicles monthly on the average.
